Rules of the ICNPR 2024 Scientific Poster Competition


Article I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
  1. The organiser of the Scientific Poster Competition for the best scientific posteR, is the ICNPR 2024 Scientific Committee of International Congress on Natural Products Research, Krakow, Poland, 13-17.07.2024 (ICNPR 2024), which in its implementation closely cooperates with the Sponsor ACS Publication - Journal of Natural Product (JNP) with its seats in Washington, US and the Congress Organiser (Symposium Cracoviense Sp. z o.o., Krakow, Poland).
  2. The aim of the Competition is to select and award the 3 best scientific posters, hereinafter referred to as posters.
  3. Posters on natural product sciences may be entered into the Competition.
  4. The Competition is held according to the rules specified in these regulations and in compliance with generally applicable laws.
 
Article II. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
  1. Authors must have the status of [Participant/Author] ICNPR 2024 participant and be early-career scientists at the same time.
  2. Entering the Competition implies:
- acceptance by the Entrant of all the conditions set out in these regulations,
- a declaration by the entrant that he/she is the author of the work and that his/her entry to the Competition does not infringe the rights of third parties.
  1. Participation in the Competition is free and voluntary.
 
Article III. DEADLINE AND PLACE FOR SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
  1. Authors shall physically bring their poster with them on the day of presentation (17 July 2024).
  2. Authors must be present in front of their posters for potential explanation and discussion.
 
Art. IV. JURY AND AWARDS
  1. The Journal of Natural Products (JNP) will award three prizes for the best poster presentations.
  2. The certificates of award will be presented during the closing ceremony of ICNPR 2024.
  3. Awardees will be selected by a committee responsible for identifying posters of high scientific quality [Jury], preferably those presented by early-career scientists.
  4. Three equal cash prizes of a total value of EUR 450 (EUR 150 each) will be awarded for the three highest rated scientific posters.
  5. After the announcement of the results, the cash prizes will be transferred to the personal bank accounts indicated by the winners, based on a written declaration.
